Campervan & Class B
rentals

The easiest RV to drive — and to love. A campervan parks anywhere, sips fuel and turns a weekend into an adventure. Ideal for couples and spontaneous Alberta escapes.

What is a Class B campervan?

A Class B is a self-contained camper built inside a van body — the smallest and most nimble motorhome class. From the outside it looks like a tall van; inside you’ll find a bed, a compact galley, and clever storage, often with a wet-bath or portable toilet. Because it’s van-sized, it drives and parks like one, fits in a regular parking spot, and uses far less fuel than a larger RV.

Why choose a campervan?

  • Drives like a van — no anxiety about size, no special licence
  • Parks anywhere — standard spots, tight campgrounds, even city streets
  • Best on fuel — the most economical RV to run, by far
  • Quick to set up — pull in, pop the kettle on, you’re camping

A campervan is the perfect match for couples, solo adventurers and anyone who wants the freedom of an RV without the bulk. It’s also a great first rental for testing whether RV travel is for you before stepping up to a larger motorhome.

Campervan rental FAQ

Campervan (Class B) rentals in Alberta typically start around $120–$160 per night — the most affordable motorhome class to rent, and the cheapest to fuel. Weekly bookings usually include a discount.

Yes — a Class B is ideally sized for couples and solo travellers. It has a comfortable bed, a compact kitchen and storage; many include a wet-bath or portable toilet. For more space or extra sleepers, a Class C is the next step up.

No. A campervan drives exactly like a tall van on a standard Class 5 licence, which makes it the least intimidating RV to rent for the first time.

A campervan (Class B) is built inside a van body — smaller, nimbler and more fuel-efficient. A Class C is larger, with a cab-over bed, full bathroom and space to sleep 6–8, but it’s less economical to drive. Choose Class B for simplicity, Class C for space.
