Small & compact
RV rentals

Big-trip freedom, small-RV simplicity. Compact motorhomes and campervans that are easy to drive, easy to park and easy on fuel — ideal for couples and first-timers.

Why rent a small RV?

Not every trip needs a 30-foot motorhome. A smaller, compact RV is far less intimidating to drive, slips into a normal parking spot and campsite, and uses a fraction of the fuel of a big rig. For couples, solo travellers and anyone renting for the first time, a small motorhome is often the sweet spot — all the comfort of a kitchen, bed and bathroom without the bulk.

Our compact options

  • Campervan (Class B) — the smallest, most nimble option; drives like a van, parks anywhere, sips fuel
  • Compact Class C (Thor Majestic 23A) — just 24 ft, sleeps up to 6, full kitchen and bathroom, still easy to handle
  • Both are Rockies-ready, insured, and come with 24/7 roadside on every trip

Our 24-foot Thor Majestic 23A is the perfect example: it’s a real motorhome with a proper bathroom and kitchen, yet short enough to drive and park with confidence. It’s the unit we most often recommend to first-time renters and couples.

Best for

  • Couples and solo travellers who want comfort without bulk
  • First-time renters nervous about driving something large
  • Fuel-conscious trips and longer drives north or to the mountains
  • Tighter campgrounds and provincial parks with smaller sites

Small RV rental FAQ

Our smallest option is a Class B campervan, which drives and parks much like a regular van. The next step up is our compact 24-foot Thor Majestic 23A Class C, which adds a full bathroom and more sleeping space while staying easy to handle.

Yes. Compact campervans and our 24-foot Class C drive much like a large van or small truck. Every rental includes a full pickup walkthrough and 24/7 roadside support, and most first-time renters feel comfortable within the first hour.

Compact campervans start around $120 per night and our small Class C from roughly $175. Smaller units also cost far less in fuel than a large Class A, which makes them the most economical way to take an RV trip.

Our compact Class C (the 24-foot 23A) has a full kitchen and a proper bathroom with a toilet and shower. Class B campervans have a compact galley and a wet-bath or portable toilet depending on the unit.
