Class C motorhome
rentals

The motorhome most families choose. Full kitchen, real bathroom, sleeps 6–8 — and it drives much like a large van. Our Rockies-ready Thor Majestic fleet, insured on every trip.

What is a Class C motorhome?

A Class C is the classic motorhome shape — built on a van or truck chassis with the tell-tale sleeping cab-over above the driving area. It’s the most popular RV class for rentals because it hits the sweet spot: roomy enough for a family with a full kitchen, bathroom and multiple beds, but built on a familiar chassis that drives much like a large van. For most Alberta renters, a Class C is the right answer.

Our fleet: the Thor Majestic

RV Best’s managed fleet runs on the Thor Majestic, a proven Class C platform in two layouts:

  • Thor Majestic 23A — 24 ft, sleeps up to 6, built on the Ford E-450 chassis. Compact enough for confident first-timers, full kitchen and bathroom.
  • Thor Majestic 28A — 30 ft, sleeps up to 8 with a bunk-over-cab layout. The family hauler for bigger groups and longer trips.

Both are set up for Alberta: comfortable on mountain highways, self-contained for provincial-park campgrounds, and maintained to a commercial standard. Every booking includes insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance.

Why renters love Class C

  • Easy to drive — familiar van/truck chassis, no special licence needed
  • Sleeps the whole family — cab-over bed plus convertible dinette and rear sleeping
  • Full facilities — kitchen, fridge, bathroom with shower, heating and power
  • Right-sized — big enough to live in, small enough to park and manoeuvre
